ADOPTING A LINCS ARK ANIMAL
Lincs Ark rescues and rehomes mainly cats and kittens, but also a smaller number of dogs, as well as small animals such as rabbits, mice, etc too. These animals are cared for by individual Fosterers until they find a loving permanent home. When necessary, we also use carefully selected local kennels and catteries. We never put a healthy animal to sleep. Animals taken in by the rescue are looked after until a new home can be found for them. Do you think you may be able to offer a rescued animal a home?

SAM PEPPER, SUNSHINE and BABIES!

We have the following rabbits looking for new homes...
Sam Pepper is the father and is about 18 months old, he is a Lionhead crossbreed.
Sunshine is a Lop, and the mother, her age is unknown as she was originally a stray but she appears to be quite young, possibly about 2-3 years old. They need to go to an experienced rabbit home together, so that they can be re-bonded as a pair.
They had 4 female and 3 male babies born at the beginning of June 2010. They were all different colours and seem to take after their father, all resembling Lionheads.
We have to rehome, a grey brother and sister to be rehomed together and also
2 sisters that can be either rehomed as a pair of seperately to be paired up with exisiting neutered males.
All are a very friendly and inquisitive bunch who will make wonderful companions.
All are neutered and fully vaccinated. We follow the latest veterinary recommendations and feed a majority hay and grass diet, supplemented with some vegetables and a small quantity of an extruded pellet.
All rabbits require spacious accommodation, the bigger the better. We follow the Rabbit Welfare Association and Funds (www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk) guidelines and recommend a minimum of a 6 foot hutch permanently attached to a 8 foot x 4 foot secure run.
We are happy to advise on housing, as well as any other aspects of rabbit keeping.
We do not rehome our rabbits to live solely in hutches or with guinea pigs.
We don't advise them as pets for young children to handle as rabbits generally don't like to be picked up.
Please call if you are interested in offering any of these lovely bunnies a new home.'

Edina and Patsy
Edina and Patsy gerbil are the sisters of Spike, Harry and Pete and are female and about 2 years old. They are very cute but slighly more lively than their brothers so can be held but with caution as they are fast! Edina has a short tail.
