ADOPTING A LINCS ARK ANIMAL
Lincs Ark rescues and rehomes mainly cats and kittens, but also a smaller number of dogs, as well as small animals such as rabbits, etc too. These animals are cared for by individual Fosterers until they find a loving permanent home. When necessary, we also use carefully selected local kennels and catteries. We never put a healthy animal to sleep. Animals taken in by the rescue are looked after until a new home can be found for them. Do you think you may be able to offer a rescued animal a home? This little family are still looking for a new home. Mum has already found her forever home, but Moses (Dad) and his son and daughter Millie and Jack are still waiting. If you can offer any, or all, of these lovely cats a loving home, please contact us:
Moses (DAD) (Below left) is a very big, gentle all-white short haired castrated male, approximately three years old. He is Dad of the two kittens below, Jack and Millie.
Jack (centre) is quite friendly and bold, but very very sweet natured.
Millie (Right)is very very shy and gentle, but will become a very loving pet in time. She loves to cuddle up to her Daddy, Moses, who is so gentle and handsome and a real baby!
Please contact us for more details, if you are interested in offering any of this lovely family a home.

FINN (left) and MONTIE (Right) Finn & Montie
Playing together
The two handsome boys above are Finn and Montgommerie and they will be a year old on 26 June. They are litter brothers and love spending lots of time together, but they also mix very well with other cats, male and female. They need to be-homed together.
Finn is a shorthaired ginger and white boy and he is epileptic. This is controlled by a tablet twice daily, which he takes very easily. He will need to be on this medication for the rest of his life. Finn is extremely affectionate and talkative. He is inquisitive and gets into trouble constantly as he is unaware of danger. He loves lots of fuss and cuddles and needs a huge amount of contact. He would be very unhappy if isolated for long periods from people or other cats.
Montgommerie is black and white and he is as shy as Finn is brave. He will be terrified of new people, but once he knows and trusts you, he will be just as affectionate. He, too, is very gentle. He and his brother love to sleep underneath a sheet or blanket together. Finn and Montie have been living in the country and love to spend time outside. They need an experienced home as Montie also will need medication periodically because he had the Herpes Virus when young and is susceptible to colds and flu. They are castrated, vaccinated and chipped. They are currently living with Robbie (also on our website below) and Hettie (above), and they all get on very well together. Can you offer a loving permanent home to both of these little chaps?

BREEZEY (pictured below)
Breezey is a very unique, healthy, beautiful & much loved Manx cat who needs a new home, most importantly with no children, other cats or dogs & preferably in a rural area as she likes to roam freely in & out during the daytime (is used to having a cat flap), but has always slept locked indoors at night.
She is an intelligent, energetic, fun, playful character & is very affectionate & enjoys being stroked by adults, but on her terms & lets you know when she's had enough (a friendly nip).
She is neutered & fully vaccinated etc. She's very petite - a typical female Manx. Even though she is very small, she is prone to fighting with other cats who come onto 'her' territory & she is afraid of dogs.
She likes to sleep in sunny spots & chase leaves in the garden, or foil balls in the kitchen. She is very independent & we sometimes joke that she is 'Queen Bee'. It is often said that the personality of a Manx cat is more like a dog & this true - she is loyal, loving & playful. Can you offer this lovely girl a forever home, please contact us

SUKI (Below)
Suki is a beautiful tabby cat. She is about 4 yrs old. She is looking for a home where there are no other animals or children, as she is an extremely nervous cat. But she thrives on being centre of attention!!
Suki will take awhile to come around to a new home, and can usually be coaxed from a hiding place by being left alone and offered food and water. She likes to be indoors and loves sitting on the windowsill watching the world go by. She is an extremely clean cat and she will happily use a litter tray. Although she is extremely nervous and can hiss and scratch, this is suspected to be due to abuse very early on in life. Once you have Suki's trust, she will be your best friend and follow you around the house.
She does not like her tail to be touched. Once again, it is suspected this was due to earlier abuse. She will hide when visitors are around, but with regular visits, she will venture out as she is very inquisitive!
Suki will happily play in the right environment and one of her favourite pastimes is catching flies! She doesn't tend to like confined space, such as tunnels and prefers laying on a bed or sofa.
She loves to be around people and her favourite place to be is laid next to you in bed, where she is nice and warm and cosy!! She is up-to-date with her injections and is a healthy little cat! She is also Micro chipped and has been Frontlined and wormed. Suki needs to live with people who can give her the attention she deserves, as she will make someone a beautiful house cat! Can you offer the loving home that Suki is looking for? Please contact us

BARRY GARLOW
Barry Garlow is a very handsome ginger boy aged approximately 2-3 years old. He is very affectionate and loves his cuddles and will stand being fussed all day long.
He has a minor neurological impairment which he was possibly born with which just makes him look a little bit drunk! As he has a slight stagger, we are looking for a relatively calm home with access to a safe outdoor environment, not near any busy roads etc. His disability does not affect his life in any way and he is healthy in all other aspects and will be a fantastic companion to his new owner/s. If you would like to offer this lovely lad a home, please get in touch for more information

SUZIE
This is the very beautiful Suzie. Suzie is needing a new home as sadly her owner has passed away.
She is 6 years old and fully vaccinated.
She needs a quiet home with no other cats, dogs or
children, with a garden that is enclosed, as she doesn't like to go too far.
She may suit a mature single person or a couple. Suzie likes her moments of independence, where she can be on her own in peace and quiet, and then will come and find you for a fuss and cuddles.
Can you offer this gorgeous girl a loving home and help her through her grief? Please get in touch.
SOOTY
This gorgeous little girl is called Sooty and she is 18 months old. Although she is small in size she is big in character. Sooty is full of energy but also likes to curl up on your lap and have her ears tickled. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She can be rehomed with other cats. If you can give Sooty a forever home please get in touch with us.
WILLOW DUSTY
Willow and Dusty are looking for a new home due to a change in their current owners circumstances.
WILLOW - Willow is 8 years old, and he is a beautiful slinky grey male cat, who loves to play, loves cuddles and fuss....but he dribbles really badly! Willow loves to sleep on a sofa or the bed - he is not fussy! Willow would be great with children.
He has been neutered. Please get in touch with us if you can offer a home to Willow!
DUSTY
Lovely Dusty is a 10 year old Female Tabby cat. She is needing to find a new forever home due to a change in her current owner's circumstances. Dusty is described as a loner, she comes home when it suits her! But when she is home she likes cuddles and a fuss, and she can be very vocal! Dusty currently lives with the Willow, pictured above, but her owner feels she needs to be on her own for extra TLC to encourage her to stay at her new home. She is spayed. If you can offer Dusty a loving new home, please get in touch
TABITHA
This beautiful girl is about 10-12 months old, and slender with lovely green/blue eyes. She is pure black. The lady who has been taking care of her says she really does not get on with her cats, so it may be better if she is rehomed where she is the only cat. Please contact us if you would like more info or to offer this little lady a loving new home.

KITTY & MUFFIN (above) are needing to find a new home due to a change in their current families circumstances. Lovely Kitty, is the mum and she is approximately 36 months old. Muffin, is her beautiful daughter and she is approximately 18 months old.
Both cats are friendly and have grown up around children and dogs. Both are neutered.
Kitty is very people-friendly, especially with children and loves attention. She will quite often curl up on their daughter's lap.
Muffin is slightly more timid, and prefers to keep to herself but will tolerate attention when eating. She loves the dogs and will happily sleep next to them on their bed. When being stroked she seems to be a little head-shy but doesn't mind her body being stroked.
If you can offer these gorgeous girls a loving new forever home, please get in touch with us.

SADIE
Meet the lovely Sadie. She is 4/5 years old and from summer until December 2011 had been living as a stray. She had to scavenge for food, find shelter where she could and avoid other cats and dogs. Sadie is vaccinated and microchipped but because her history is unknown it is not certain as yet if she is spayed. She is very friendly - suggesting she had been someone's pet - and loves cuddles with her foster carers, but needs a forever home. She is nervous of other cats and would suit a home where she is the only cat. If you can offer Sadie a new start in life, where she has somewhere warm and dry to sleep, regular food and lots of TLC, please get in touch.

BEN
This handsome boy is Ben. He is a lovely cat, very playful and kitten-like despite being a couple of years old. He can mouth a little when he plays and sometimes digs his claws in but he is not malicious. He will let you pick him up but only when he has got to know you. He is a small cat but what he lacks in size he sure than makes up for in character! He loves going out to explore, sometimes for a few hours at a time, but also loves to sit in a warm chair and curl up and go to sleep. He does come into contact with other cats and will stand his ground, although he has not been known to fight other cats. He seems more tolerant of female cats. If you would like to know more about this lovely boy or can offer him a loving new home, please get in touch with us.
