VOLUNTEERS - LINCS ARK NEEDS YOU! We URGENTLY need more like-minded animal lovers to join the friendly team at Lincs Ark. Even if you can spare just a few hours please contact us. We particularly need help with the following: FOSTERING Foster Carers are valued members of the team, who look after animals until they are adopted. To become a fosterer, you will need previous experience of handling and of taking care of animals. Particularly cats and kittens, but we also need foster homes for dogs and small animals such as rabbits too. Full Support given. Food and litter supplied. Vets costs covered. If you live in the Lincolnshire area and would like more information about fostering for us please get in touch. The more foster carers we have - the more animals we can help! HOME - VISITORS Anyone wanting to adopt an animal from us needs to be home-checked. As a Home Visitor you would visit potential new owners at their homes and assess their suitability according to the animals needs. Once the animal has been rehomed Home Visitors usually return for a post-home check about 10-14 days later to make sure that all is well and the animal has settled in to it's new home. Would suit someone who has experience with cats and dogs, but some training given. Own transport essential. Lincolnshire based visits only. FUNDRAISERS We always need more people to join our friendly team! If you can do any of the following - PLEASE GET IN TOUCH!!!!!!! Help out at events - Set up, Work behind a stall, etc Collect donated goods from local area Make Items for us to sell - Cakes, crafts, etc Hold your own fundraising event - Coffee morning, etc Set Up a standing order to donate a regular amount each month Donate items for us to sell at car boots, Ebay, other events The animals depend on us raising as much money as possible - Fundraising is absolutely vital - without it, we could not carry on.
