This handsome chap is Moomin. He is 2 years old (born approx May 2023), is neutered, chipped and vaccinated and is DEAF. He needs a very special home.
He is a bit of a trickster, he likes to play, eat, and trick you into touching his lovely white tummy by rolling over onto his back. Don’t let him fool you into doing it! He loves a fuss but can get a little over stimulated if you fuss him too much and not read the signs. He is young and still has a lot to learn as he has had a tough start in life and was not taught as a kitten how to behave, due to being mistreated. He needs an experienced owner who knows how to continue with his rehabilitation, he has already come a long way and is a lovely cat but just needs to learn some manners, with the right owner it can be done.
He cannot be rehomed with children, other cats, or dogs.
He does have a slight thickening of one side of his heart. He has had a heart scan. The vet has passed him fit to be rehomed but he would need a check when he has his booster each year.
Because Moomin is deaf it is not safe for him to go outside the garden, so a catio or a secured garden would be required for his safety.
If you feel you could give this lovely boy the right home and a new start in life please do contact us.
